We aim to reduce unemployment by providing transportation to people who cannot accept a job without it, as this is one of the unemployed's most insurmountable barriers.

The Mission of Providence Services is to support under-resourced residents' lives and to provide stepping stones for self-sufficiency. We do this by helping people acquire jobs so they can build a better life for themselves and their families.  We will walk alongside our fellow Americans to help them build their American dream.

Providence Services of Syracuse was established in March of 2013 to serve as a change agent for refugees and other under-resourced residents in Syracuse, New York toward employment as well as personal and economic self-sufficiency.  With the help of Providence Services' Ride to Work program, all Americans will be able to earn a steady paycheck, develop solid, transferable work skills, and strengthen their sense of self-confidence and self-responsibility.
